The multi-day Racing School is the ultimate driving experience at Portland International Raceway. Learn race craft from some of the best sports car racers in the country.
Your School Begins with a classroom on vehicle dynamics and the art of driving a race car.
Then it is time to suit up and strap into the Spec Racer Ford for a lead & follow session with an instructor showing you the fast way around Portland International Raceway! At Pro Drive Racing School, our focus is on track time! Our team of instructors will work on building your speed and consistency by observing you from every corner of the track. You will receive personal feedback on each of your lapping sessions as our instructors motivate you to drive as fast as you can. All your sessions will be timed so you can see your progress throughout the school. When you take the checkered flag for the final time you will have experienced one of the most rewarding challenges of your life.
Graduates will qualify for an SCCA competition license. If you want to start your racing career off on the right foot, come join the Pro Drive Racing Team for an arrive-and-drive race weekend at PIR or many other world-famous racetracks. Don't miss your chance to turn your dreams into reality!

Want to drive a real race car around Portland International Raceway? Our 1-Day Racing Adventure is your chance to get out of the grandstands and experience the thrill of auto racing.
Your day will begin with a short classroom session where you will learn the proper driving techniques required to drive a race car. Then you'll be supplied with a racing suit, helmet and gloves before you strap into the Spec Racer Ford for the most exhilarating drive of your life!
Your adventure includes lead-and-follow sessions with an instructor to learn the fastest racing line around the track. You'll continue with lapping sessions where you can go full throttle!
