Who are these Track Days for?
These Track Days are designed specifically for experienced drivers who are approved Advanced Solo Lappers. Participants should be comfortable driving at speed on a road course without in-car instruction.
What is an Advanced Solo Driver?
An Advanced Solo Driver is someone who has demonstrated the skill, awareness, and consistency required to drive independently on track. This typically includes prior track experience, strong judgement skills, car control, and the ability to safely manage traffic and passing.
Do I need prior approval to participate?
Yes. All drivers must be approved prior to participating as a solo driver. Credentials such as prior track experience, racing licenses, or instructor sign-off are required.
Is instruction provided?
Instruction is not included as part of Track Days, as these events are designed for Advanced Solo Drivers. Participants are expected to operate independently and follow all track rules and procedures. However, a one-on-one coaching session may be added at the time of registration for drivers who would like to refine specific skills.
What cars are allowed?
Most performance-oriented vehicles are allowed, including track-prepared cars. Vehicles must meet all safety requirements. Pickup trucks and most SUVs are not permitted due to safety and handling considerations.
Is there a tech inspection?
Yes. Participants must complete a pre-event tech inspection form and are responsible for ensuring their vehicle is in safe operating condition. A professional inspection is recommended.
What is the rescheduling policy?
You may reschedule up to 14 days prior to the event. Rescheduling with less than 14 days and more than 24 hours of the scheduled date will result in a forfeiture of 50% of the retail cost of the course; rescheduling within 24 hours of the scheduled date will result in a forfeiture of the total cost of the course. All enrollment fees are non-refundable. All courses will run rain or shine.
How many cars are on track at a time?
Run groups are managed to maintain a safe and efficient on-track experience, with controlled car counts to minimize congestion.
What are the passing rules?
Passing is allowed in designated zones and must be conducted with a point-by. All drivers are expected to follow established passing protocols and demonstrate respect for other participants on track.
Are there run groups?
Yes. Drivers are typically grouped based on experience level and vehicle type to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for all participants.
Can I bring a passenger?
Passengers are not permitted.
What safety gear is required?
• Helmet (Snell SA 2020 or newer required) • Seat belts or harnesses in good condition • Drivers gear (fire suit, gloves) required for race prepared cars.
What happens if it rains?
Events run rain or shine. Drivers are expected to adjust to changing track conditions.
Is this racing?
No. These are non-competitive Track Days. Timing, racing, or aggressive competition is not permitted.
What is the goal of Track Days?
Track Days provide a controlled environment for advanced drivers to refine their skills, test their vehicles, and enjoy high-performance driving without the risks of public roads.
