2-Day / 3-Day

Whether you are an aspiring racer, want to experience the thrill of driving a real race car, or simply want to perfect your driving skills, this course is for you.

Day one you will experience a full day of high speed activities from behind-the-wheel of the Spec Racer Ford. You will learn the fundamentals of car control, precise shifting and braking combined with the racing line through exciting exercises and lapping sessions at Portland International Raceway. Your track time begins with a lead-and-follow session with an instructor showing you the fast way around the track and continues with you driving on your own so you can apply the techniques you have learned.

Day two: The focus is on track time! Our team of instructors will work on building your consistency and speed throughout the day by observing you from every corner of the track. You will receive personalized feedback on each of your lapping sessions as our instructors motivate you to drive as fast as you can. When you take the checkered flag for the final time you will have experienced one of the most rewarding challenges of your life.

Want track time behind-the-wheel of the Spec Racer Ford? Pro Drive offers Spec Racer Ford Lapping sessions for graduates of the Introduction to Racing, High Performance Driving Course or Road Racing School. Track
time consists of three 15 minute sessions.

When you've finished the Road Racing School, it's time to take the next step: an "arrive and drive" competition weekend at an SCCA racing event.

Pro Drive provides the race car and pit crew so you can concentrate on your driving. All you need to bring is the desire to win and your own SCCA approved safety equipment. Pick a weekend or race the full season.

Our instructors will coach you on your driving techniques and racing tactics throughout the weekend.

Most importantly, the Spec Racer Ford class is ultra competitive. All of the cars are built to be equal, so the focus is on driving skill. If you have the ability, you can win.
